  • Bet that h won't pull it...

  • The H has the Super H pistons in it and it will pull the Subsoiler fine ! Probably 3rd gear.

  • I don't know about that

  • The Farmall’s were really over engineered and you can make the horsepower almost anything you want ! Transmission, rear end, clutch, axles, can take the extra horses ! What a tractor to have came out in 1939 !

  • It all depends on how deep it's set,I seen 4 wheels drives get stopped by a 1 shank deep tiller, but at our plow day, the guys usually brings one pulls it with a D John Deere, lets the kids steer it where ever they want too!!

  • Maybe it will stop a D John Deere but it will not stop a Farmall ! There is daylight and dark difference between green and Red !

  • You sound like a blowhart

  • I’ve had green tractors all my life, but once I’ve got a Red tractor things have changed ! For the better !

  • Hey guys, just having a little fun with the H Farmall and Subsoiler ! The H wouldn’t have any business with that ripper, I’ve pulled a 3pt. Hitch subsoiler with my 2440 JD and believe me it wasn’t easy ! So Merry Christmas and I was just having fun with the pic!

  • My dad has a McCormick Deering sub soiler very much like yours. If your soil is hard like ours. Your H will never pull it. Dad had a WD-9. The subsoiler would stop it dead in it's tracks. Dad loaned/rented the subsoiler to area farmers a few times. I remember one guy bragging up his 4020 could pull anything. Dad hooked it up and set it to go as deep as possible. Killed that 4020 dead in seconds! The only guy in town who had a tractor that would pull it had a 930 Case.

  • Ken you are right about how hard they pull ! I use to have a 3pt. John Deere 1 shank that had Killifer Works on it and I hit a huge rock with it and it snapped my top link on my JD 2440 ! Our ground here is tough !

  • just as I said... bet it wouldn't pull it...it wouldn't pull it up here in sandy soil...he said 3rd gear...this fellow is full of s@%t...
Dwight wrote on Saturday, January 02, 2021 (PST):
  • Remember it does have the Super H pistons in the H! Guarantee it to pull it in 2nd !
